Sing has no separate ERP. Sales, purchasing and subcontracting, warehouse, routing, shop-floor production, the paint shop and shipping all run in Etrust PIS, so there is no retyping between programs and no integrations to maintain. Sales in Etrust PIS
Customer orders are entered directly in Etrust PIS, with the price from the customer price list. There is no separate ERP to transfer them from.
Routing and release
Routings are the basis for release: work orders with operations are created from the customer order or production order.
Order schedule and MRP
Authorized orders are on the order schedule, and MRP calculates material and production requirements from them.
Purchasing and subcontracting
Purchase orders are created from requirements, and subcontractor orders from work order operations. Receipt from subcontracting goes straight to the work order.
MES on the shop floor
Workers start and finish operations on control centers (Start & Stop), so the work order status and time spent are visible as they happen, without paper.
Paint shop
Painting is part of the same flow as machining, with its own department and workstations.
Warehouse and inventory
Receipts, issues and transfers run in Etrust PIS, and inventory is taken by count sheets in the same system.
Shipping and serial numbers
Shipping is linked to the customer order, and products with a serial number are traceable from production to the customer.
